Lightmeter Beetle

Dan and I have a steadily growing vintage camera collection, and today I've been using it as a starting point to create mysterious camera-beetle hybrids. This one is the result of a liason between a Leningrad lightmeter and a Lubitel.

Soon after drawing this, a real beetle appeared on my toe, and I made a film about his life which you can watch here: http://vimeo.com/24259311

WeAdmire

The lovely people at WeAdmire have turned some of my illustrations into t-shirts!

(featured: Elizabeth Taylor, Morrissey, Nikola Tesla and Pathé Tuschinski)

WeAdmire are a t-shirt publishing company based in Shoreditch, London. They use a printing process whereby dyes are embedded in the t-shirts with heat and pressure, meaning that the design won't fade or crack/peel. They print the designs at between 300 - 800dpi, so they are nice and clear too.

They have a website full of unique and very intriguing t-shirts, and you can also find them on Facebook and on Twitter too.

The address of their shop is: 13-15 Great Eastern Street, London, EC2A 3EJ, England

I am building a set for a new commission
